How are we paid
General
In some cases where financial planning is allied to the investment of client funds, our financial planning advice costs are incorporated within our standard investment costs.
Third-party fees are also incurred in the administration of our portfolios.
VAT may be chargeable, depending on the nature of the transaction/advice given. The way that we charge for our services will vary considerably with the complexity of the work involved.
On receiving an enquiry, AAC will arrange an initial meeting. The purpose of this meeting is to determine whether we can help you achieve or move towards your financial goals. There is no charge for this and no obligation on either side.
After the initial consultation, we will discuss payment options to cover the costs of our services, and we will not charge anything until an agreement in writing has been reached.
Certain products
Non-investment insurance policies and mortgages – can still pay a commission so that we may work based on a commission, a fee or a combination of both. As before, no costs are incurred without prior agreement, and all prospective earnings are disclosed before work is undertaken.
Fees may be subject to VAT at the prevailing rate, depending upon the type of work undertaken.
