Scott Keachie
Executive Director of Financial Planning
Scott Keachie is Executive Director of Financial Planning within Advanced Asset Consultants, overseeing the Pensions Desk, which specialises in providing education and advice on Corporate Pensions, Liability Transfer, and Flexibility in the Retirement market.
Scott delivers bespoke Personal Financial planning to meet the needs and objectives of the challenges ahead for the client. He is passionate about providing engagement, knowledge, and advice to Trustees and the legal profession. As well as working closely with private clients to provide the foundation of understanding and the merits of cashflow planning.
Scott holds an Honours Degree in Financial Services from Glasgow Caledonian University and many professional qualifications. He is a Senior Pension Transfer Specialist who manages a team of advisers to maintain high standards.
He is married with one daughter, a keen golfer with a single-figure handicap, and enjoys running and walking his three dogs.
Dave McConnell
Managing Director & CFO
Dave McConnell is the Managing Director and CFO of Advanced Asset Consultants. He is a Chartered Financial Planner, a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and holds a Masters (MSc) in Financial Planning and Business Management from the Manchester Metropolitan University.
Achieving Fellowship allows Dave to demonstrate his knowledge and technical capability to his clients and his ongoing commitment to professional development. He is a Pension Transfer Specialist and provides corporate and private client work, covering investments, trusts and estate planning to high-net-worth individuals. Since 2017, Dave has provided pro-bono financial guidance to Armed Forces personnel and veterans, which he is passionate about.
Dave is a keen martial artist covering a range of disciplines from Tae kwon do which he holds a 1st Degree blackbelt, to Krav Maga. He can often be found on the golf course, trying to maintain his single figure handicap. He has participated in several triathlons in the past, and now in his advancing years, has decided to take up ultra-running just for fun. He is married with two children.
Kevin Lynch
Director & COO
Kevin Lynch is the Director and COO of Advanced Asset Consultants, a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and a Chartered Financial Planner.
Kevin delivers advice on pensions, investments, trusts and estate planning to high-net-worth individuals. He is a Pension Transfer Specialist and is responsible for compliance within the business. Kevin’s drive is to benefit his clients’ lifestyles by implementing personal lifetime cashflow planning – something he is a strong advocate for.
Before joining the financial services profession, Kevin studied for a BEng in Civil Engineering at the University of Ulster. As well as numerous professional qualifications, becoming a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society shows that he has attained and maintained the most prestigious level of professional achievement.
Kevin enjoys sailing, cycling, golf, cooking, and DIY in his spare time. He is married with three children.
Pauline Doherty
Director of Financial Planning
Pauline Doherty is a Director of Financial Planning and one of a few hundred female Fellows of the Personal Finance Society; she has attained and maintained the most prestigious level of professional achievement.
Pauline provides advice on various areas, including corporate group scheme pensions, Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit pensions, investments, and estate planning to high-net-worth individuals. She aims to provide clear, jargon-free, straightforward advice to help clients achieve their financial aspirations. Over the past 17 years, her knowledge and technical capability have been without question on a wide range of financial planning needs.
Pauline lives with her partner, two young children and her dog. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, keeping fit and socialising with her friends.
Shadan Mudge
Director of Advice Quality & Compliance
Shadan Mudge is a Director of Advice Quality & Compliance and holds a Masters (MA) in Economics from Glasgow University and many other professional qualifications.
Over the past 18 years, Shadan has been instrumental in building a robust advice process, with her vast experience as a Senior Paraplanner and Pension Transfer Specialist, in addition to leading compliance staff and communicating and enforcing values, policies, and procedures to colleagues and other stakeholders. Keen to progress with her knowledge, she is working towards being Chartered.
Shadan is married with two children and two dogs, loves spending time with her family and friends, and enjoys getting involved in school activities, having been chair of the PTA and now is chair of the Parent Council. She is a keen runner and a Coach at the local girls’ Football Club.
